Role Summary The Senior HR Manager is a strategic business partner who assists in building organization capability through value-added HR solutions. This position serves as a consultant and coach to managers and associates through-out the associate lifecycle with key focus on recruiting, employee relations, performance management associate development and investigations. The Senior HR Manager manages and coordinates human resources activities for the group office sites (actually 4) in support of needs, goals, and business objectives. Helps influence business decisions by analyzing and reviewing human resource implications of planned changes in staff, policies, programs, etc. Key Responsibilities o Builds a strong business relationship with assigned business areas providing day-to-day generalist and point-of-contact support. o Partners with leaders to build talent capability through career experiences, development opportunities and robust plans, training and mentoring engagements. o Provides guidance, expertise and support to managers on performance counseling, disciplinary actions, investigations, organization restructuring, and workforce analysis. o Serve as a key resource to associates answering questions, facilitating career discussions and development opportunities. o Supports the global talent review process, head-count management and succession planning for the team. o Collaborate with other HR managers and functional partners to execute human resources strategies and annual initiatives (compensation, benefits, employee engagement, performance management and training & development) to meet business objectives and support future business growth. o Works closely with management and associates to facilitate change initiatives, build engagement, and increase productivity and retention. o Leads talent acquisition for the group office and directly managers the corporate recruiter for the location. This includes developing job descriptions, facilitating requisition process, identifying potential candidate sources, interviewing, internal customer communication, and effective on-boarding of all new hires. o Prepares and delivers presentations for managers and associates on a variety of HR-related topics. o Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies. o Administers and maintains knowledge of HR policies and procedures, as well as local, state and federal labor laws. o Fully understands organizational structure, jobs and job content/requirements in assigned area. Performs primary job evaluation of office jobs, determines proper job classifications, and advises salary changes. o Establishes and administers programs and procedures to maintain/improve employee morale and productivity. Provides guidance, counsel, and problem-solving support to Managers, team leaders, and individuals for human resource/employee relations issues. o Administers the company's Performance Review program to ensure its effectiveness, compliance, and equity throughout the company. o Perform other duties as may be assigned at management's discretion. Key Qualifications/Requirements o A Bachelors-level degree in Human Resources, Business or related field is required o Master's degree in HR, I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, or MBA a plus o 7
years of HR Generalist / HR Business Partner with Team Leading experience required o 3
years leading/managing projects. o Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws. o SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred 04--Human Resources F--Permanent/Regular
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
HR ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
