Role Summary The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible to perform technical assignments and tasks in support of engineering design, build and test activities. Key Responsibilities o Lead design, fabrication and build of test set-ups and test equipment used by design and test engineering groups. o Support in building, modifying and verifying of engineering prototype samples, o Support Ed, DV, PV testing by conducting tests and documenting results as needed. o Provide support in troubleshooting of warranty returns as needed. o Manage equipment and prototype component inventory in the engineering center. o Manage equipment calibration and repair by outside vendors. o Perform detailed work assignments provided by the mentor or team member, by applying established and well defined engineering techniques o Work assignments primarily involve entry level or intermediate work. o Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. Ensures that facilities are in full compliance with all safety regulations. o Maintains regular attendance. o Follows safe work procedures; Uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); Uses workplace tools and equipment as instructed; Reports workplace hazards, injuries and illness as soon as possible following event. o Complies with the requirements of Quality Operating System (QOS) Key Qualifications/Requirements o Bachelor's of Science degree or equivalent o 5- 8 years' relevant experience regarding the Responsibility/ Activities in serial development. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Mechanical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
