Role Summary This role will be an integral team member of the Engineering Systems Development, Deployment and Support Team assisting in future integration with Engineering Tools. The incumbent will be responsible for leading the user business requirements gathering, develop and propose advance technical design solution, review and mentor with other developers, system architect to implement and deploy solutions. This position will work closely with the Engineering community to support a variety of Engineering Tools. Key Responsibilities o Facilitates and conduct user requirement sessions with user community to document AS-IS and TO-BE process. o Work very closely with the global IT team on various projects to meet business objectives and deliveries o Develops solutions from customer requirements o Develops/document Solution Specification for team members to work with o Works with team to Investigate and troubleshoot Engineering Systems data to continuously improve the application o Responsible for leading several technical projects with user requirements o Development schedules and testing and delivery of the solution to the end customers. o Supports IT Management with developing roadmap, strategy and supporting the governance model. o Works with leadership team to create and enhance vision and strategy for Engineering Systems in our ecosystem o Control upstream and downstream impact analysis for regression risk management o End User Support Key Qualifications/Requirements o Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related degree o Minimum 3 years of direct work experience with IT strategy, roadmap, implementation & support Knowledge o Hands-on experience with all levels and modules of Engineering Systems Applications from development to release. o Experience in product and engineering processes related to Engineering Systems set. o Previous experience as a cross functional team leader with ability to bring IT and business functions to create solutions o Experience in computer science, information management, system engineering, or related technical field o Strong leadership skills o Automation experience is a plus (automating tools, workflows, BOTS, etc.) o Scripting language like PowerShell, Python and/or JavaScript a huge plus. o Linux experience is highly desirable o Experience with Engineering Tools is preferred o Experience with MS Power BI is preferred o Experience with Reqtify application is a plus o Highly motivated individual with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision o Presentation skills with ability to deliver Engineering Systems vision, mission and strategy to a broad audience. o Must have strong interpersonal and service-oriented skills with the ability to interface well with engineers, vendors and other staff members at all levels o Ability to collaborate with Business Leadership to manage training and other organization change management activities o Solution development, administration and configuration for System Engineering Applications 05--Information Technology F--Permanent/Regular
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
