Role Summary Responsible for administering various HR programs, policies, and procedures such as:
onboarding, Career progression and enhancement, employee morale/motivation, benefits and compensation, legal compliance, performance management, financial responsibility, health and safety, communications, and policy/procedure development and implementation. Maintains strict confidentiality and data integrity. Key Responsibilities o Develops, reinforces, and interprets company policies, procedures, and program to ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees and compliance with legislation, the Magna Charter, the Magna Corporate Constitution, and the employee norms. o Serves as a source of knowledge on HR and organizational practices/trends, issues, and best practices. Responds to employee inquiries. o Advises and assists management on interpretation and administration of policies, procedures, and programs. o Provides coaching and guidance to management regarding leadership, performance management, employee relations. Recommends remedial action and counseling for employment problems/concerns. o Provides support in HR special projects to enhance the employee experience. o Monitors and complies with up-to-date government regulations. Keeps current with professional training. o Prepares and reports on HR department metric data. o Conducts exit interviews and ensure proper documentation is completed. o Supports talent and career progression of employees through the internal promotion process. o Supports People, Development and Training (PD&T) initiatives and programs. o Assists in effective employee communication (publications, employee meetings, etc.). o Assists in processing U.S. nonimmigrant and immigrant (permanent residence) visa applications financially sponsored by Division for foreign nationals to ensure compliance with current U.S. immigration laws and legislative changes. o Coordinates probationary trial period and annual performance reviews for all employees. Works with management to ensure employees are integrated into the company effectively. o Participates on Joint Health and Safety Committee to identify hazards and prevent accidents. o Plans and organizes various employee communication strategies. o Participates on the Events Committee, coordinates employee events. o Maintains strict confidentiality and data integrity. o Maintains regular attendance. o Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives and deemed necessary by management. o Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. Ensures that facilities are in full compliance with all safety regulations. o Follows safe work procedures; Uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); Uses workplace tools and equipment as instructed; Reports workplace hazards, injuries and illness as soon as possible following event. o Complies with the requirements of Quality Operating System (QOS) Key Qualifications/Requirements o Demonstrated knowledge of the fundamental doctrines, theories, principles, and terminology of human resources body such as, employee relations, labor relations, performance management, staffing management, etc. o Working knowledge of human resources information systems strongly preferred. o Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business document, rules, and procedure manuals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or business colleagues. o Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. o Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. o Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram from and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Additional Information o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. o Minimum of 5 years' experience required, in human resources; or equivalent. Experience working with Management and Engineering teams is preferred. o Automotive experience preferred. o Completion of professional certification (i.e. PHR) desired. 04--Human Resources F--Permanent/Regular
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
