Sr. Manager, Clinical Operations & Integration

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations & Implementation, the Sr. Manager, Clinical Operations & Integration oversees key operational initiatives in a dynamic environment, delivering reporting and tools to ensure team members across departments meet objectives. This self-starter will be responsible for driving clinical integration with new clients, doubling as a new client implementation within any State.project manager, support the existing nursing function and leadership, and work on key operational projects. Responsibilities o Oversees new health plan clinical integration, partnering with the appropriate team from the health plan to design integration workflows and structures across CM, UM, DM, BH and any other relevant clinical programs, either internal to the health plan or from external vendors. o Creates, distributes, and maintains effective project management tools to implement client contract requirements, improve internal processes, and organize deliverables. o Independently runs project plans or assigns resources as needed to accomplish project tasks and maintain project schedules. o Provides direct and indirect oversight and accountability for all implementation timelines. o Communicates relevant project goals and updates to key stakeholders across departments, including executive leadership. o Build strong relationships with health plan clinical peers and act as the day-to-day clinical lead for the relationship as needed. o Partner with the implementations team as a whole as the SME for meetings with at-risk provider groups, leveraging existing workflows and processes, and creating new ones where necessary, to drive successful partnerships. o Own and drive continual improvement of the client clinical integration process, working towards the active evolution of the workstream. o Actively contributes to internal performance and process improvement. o Works closely with internal and external project and relationship managers to ensure project success, while also effectively communicating project status to appropriate stakeholders. o Work on operational projects as needed and capacity permits. o Travel required - expected to be 20-30% travel, traveling for key in-person working sessions with health plan clients. o Other duties as assigned. Qualifications o Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related field or business administration, RN required. o Experience working in a health plan, case management experience a plus o 10
years of clinical management and / or relevant consulting or professional services experience o Proven track record of driving projects from conception to implementation to refinement o Experience managing complex stakeholders to drive to an output o Excellence in organizational and project management with the ability to lead multiple complex projects o Track record of leading without authority, demonstrated ability to influence others and drive cross-functional results o Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals o Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management o Solution-oriented mindset and work approach o Charisma and a natural ability to connect with others o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persistent Company Statement We are now part of Optum and the United Health Group family of businesses, backed by the resources of a global health organization working to help people live healthier lives and to help make the health system work better for everyone. $150K -- $200K
