GENERAL SUMMARY Manages and directs the international business operations team by supporting the financial decisions for capital allocation, internal expense within AM General's G&A, and tracking with support of the LOB International Orders, Sales, and Margin forecasts over the forecasted period. Responsibility also includes pro-actively engaging Engineering with the International program office on prioritizing IR&D projects and deploying value add resources on approved projects. Other responsibilities to include, ensuring contractual compliance, cost management, budget development, continuous improvement, managing other employees, recruitment, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain thorough understanding of program profitability data and work proactively with other functional management to address all concerns that may affect expected results Assure that effective internal controls over financial reporting are maintained Participate in/lead various operations reviews, bid reviews and strategic planning events Interface effectively with AM General Leadership and work closely with the International Line of Business Vice President and their program management staff as partners in strategic planning, prioritization, and significant decision-making initiatives Create an environment that provides direction and accountability and promotes continuous improvement while maintaining operating effectiveness Build effective organizational relationships and promote collaboration across the business; effectively balance the competing priorities of different Reporting Weekly and Monthly status using a comprehensive set of financial metrics Provide Business Management leadership on various internal programs. i.e., Capture, Bid & Proposal, and Market Assist efforts. Lead a team of business professionals, including Contracts, Program Finance, Scheduling, Estimating, Procurement, Subcontract Management and Data Management in the execution of various DOD contracts. Ensure compliance to the contract terms and conditions, and internal policies and procedures. Interface with internal and external organizations and personnel at various levels to report program progress, advocate program and resolve issues related to program performance. Responsible for developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with current and prospective customers. Required to establish a detailed understanding of the customer and provide appropriate direction to AM General departments on identification of customer requirements and resolution of customer issues. Leadership responsibilities will include providing an inclusive environment, recruitment, talent management, career development, performance assessments and identifying potential growth opportunities for team members based on leadership Imperatives. EDUCATION & SKILLS B.S./B.A./M.B.A in Accounting or Finance with 10 - 20 years of Accounting or Finance management related experience, preferably in military tactical vehicles or defense industry. Experience managing a project team to execute a government contract or product development efforts. Expertise with project management-based planning and control systems and tools such as:
Contract and Subcontract Management, Integrated Master Plan, Integrated Master Schedule, Work Break Down Structure, Earned Values Management System, Integrated Baseline Review, Periodic Program Reviews and Major Milestone Reviews. A solid background in internal expense management and the financial impact with management internal expenses on a company's Profit/Loss. Able to obtain Secret Clearance preferable. Understanding of the United States Government (USG) acquisition process. Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Employee development and mentoring skills. Must have experience leading a cross-discipline team of Business Operations professionals with familiarity with MPM, MS Project, ProPricer, SharePoint, SAP, SuccessFactors. PHYSICAL EFFORTS Sight:

must be able to regularly bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms, or legs to perform job tasks. This includes the ability to move throughout all areas of the facility, Company's property surrounding facility, or additional work areas. Climbing / Kneeling:
must be able to occasionally climb, kneel, bend over, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, with balance. Lifting:
must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds with or without assistance. Physical Strength:
must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry objects using hands, arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups. Stamina:
must be able to occasionally exert oneself physically over long periods of time. This may include performing repetitive or strenuous tasks as well as standing and sitting for long periods. WORKING CONDITIONS This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routine uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and copy, fax and scanning machines. Employee must be able to perform job functions with appropriate intermittent relief where applicable under these conditions. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
