Job Description:
Technical/Functional Skills:
Product engineering experience in NX, Team Center and CoDeP
Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) preferred Belt certification
Solid understanding of system/component design
Coordination of prototype
vehicles
, parts, and union mechanic activities, execution and documentation of development activities, and presentation of results.
Strong understanding of automotive steering and suspension components and function
Previous experience in automotive ride and handling development
Data acquisition and data processing skills
Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics theory and application
Exp in design concepts, packaging, and integrating system, components, and benchmarking of competitive vehicles
Roles &
Responsibilities:
Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) preferred.
Develop and maintain DVP&R's
Root cause failures and documentation
Generic Managerial Skills:
Self-starter with strong leadership, communication & organizational skills and demonstrated problem solving ability.
