Engineer is to be responsible for enforcement of wiring standards on new vehicle programs.
Insure wire harness conformance to CS-11510 for coverings, workmanship, circuit functional requirements and design clearances.
USCar-21 crimp validation data collection and evaluation/deviations
Special requirement assurance for gold and tin plating to insure no plating mis-matches exist.
Connector to interface evaluation and testing for new applications of existing connectors
