Working together with some of the industry's most innovative minds, the designer is responsible for vehicle packaging, cooling system layout, and the design of driveline components. The designer will have involvement in the entire design process, from conceptual model creation to production level detailing. There will be considerable involvement and responsibility in the design layout, creation, and maintenance of CATIA CAD models, 2D drawings, tolerance stack-up's and BOM's.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in CATIA V5 solid modeling is required
Experience in the design of complex castings and precision machined components for driveline applications
Experience with vehicle packaging and cooling system layout
Knowledge of GD&T application
Knowledge of manufacturing processes is a plus
Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills
5 years minimum experience in related positions Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
