Model Controller - Financial Analyst Job

The Model Controller (Financial Analyst) has complete program financial control responsibility for 1 to 2 vehicles or powertrains. The key responsibilities include: financial business case consolidation, net present value analysis and cost/investment reporting and tracking. The candidate is also responsible for: (a) communicating the program financial position to senior management and other functional operating teams; (b) compiling vehicle margin inputs including revenue, variable and fixed cost, volumes and corresponding investment to ensure proper business case development and profitability reporting; (c) developing and maintaining program financial control reporting and standardization practices, (d) developing ad-hoc reporting/special projects as needed.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business; if no Bachelor's degree in the aforementioned, a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Accounting is highly desired
Minimum of three (3) years of finance experience required; at least two (2) years in one or more of the following areas highly desired: budget and forecasting, capital expenditure investment, comparative financial analysis, financial trend analysis, application of accounting principles, program management
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Preferred
Qualifications:
MBA or MS in Finance or Accounting
Prior experience developing financial presentations for senior management review
Demonstrated ability in increasing levels of responsibility
Strong analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work well with international and cross-functional teams
High level of enthusiasm and creativity
Ability to multi-task and adapt easily to change, including prioritization of assignments
Good presentation skills
Financial experience in the automotive industry
Results-oriented and must possess the ability to plan, develop, implement and measure results
Work well on broad based and diverse teams, both as a team member and team lead
Self-motivated, proactive, and a self-starter
