DUTIES: Lead World Class Finance (WCF) Process Competency Center for all group entities within the PentaSAP environment. Lead and direct finance process continuous improvement activities for all entities within the PentaSAP environment, including purchase to pay, order to cash, and record to report processes and modules. Lead and direct all Finance convergence projects, including standardization of all finance and accounting processes, systems and applications, and organizations for the NAFTA region. Interact with ICT on the prioritization of enhancements and ongoing development of the FI/GL, controlling, accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales and distribution, financial supply chain management, asset accounting, and investment management and project systems modules, ensuring end user requirements are met. Lead and direct all contract manufacturing programs, providing program management support for all vehicle programs, including contract development, finance processes, and IT system requirements. Assist the Chief Accounting Officer and reporting groups in their efforts to maintain records using PentaSAP as the primary financial application. Provide liaison support, counsel, and representation on all financial record-keeping matters. Develop controls and procedures for FI/GL in convergence activities, including responsibility for launch of new WCF functions and organizational design modeling of processes. Lead and direct NAFTA Process Competency Center (PCC) activities, working with all Finance process leads and ICT liaisons as well as global PCC process owners, focusing on ensuring standardized WCF processes and best practice sharing. Lead and direct global WCF projects with WCF regional counterparts, providing standardized project management tools and templates to ensure projects are delivered within time, cost, and quality targets. Assist in the enhancement of the PCC across all regions. Lead and direct personnel involved with major finance and accounting projects including Fiat Services on a day-to-day basis with regard to process improvement and ICT application enhancements. On a monthly basis, ensure the ongoing support of financial statement and managerial reporting processes through the balancing and reporting of the financial (FI) and controlling (CO) modules. Provide overall Finance leadership to all aspects of transaction processing, including business processes, system utilization, and end-user support. Ensure system accuracy for financial reporting and manage process improvements and compliance to all corporate policies and procedures. Lead and direct end user support activities through the application maintenance structure for FI/CO, accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales and distribution, asset accounting, and investment management and project systems modules to ensure timely response to end user issues. Prioritize, lead, and direct ongoing development of previously launched SAP modules, working with ICT to ensure end user requirements are met and development is done in a timely manner. Lead and direct future SAP implementation by developing and presenting business cases, assembling teams to gather end user requirements, designing to-be processes, and launching new functionality in the existing common development environment.
REQUIREMENTS (applicants with any suitable equivalent combination of education, training, or experience are acceptable): Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, engineering, or management information systems required. Will also accept equivalent of a bachelors degree based on a combination of post-secondary education and experience. 5 years experience in the job described or as a Consultant or Project Manager in a related area. Experience must include: support of finance processes in SAP and IT systems and exposure to finance, business development, supply chain, information technology, and treasury functions; leading BPE and SAP implementation activities; definition of SAP implementation methodology and assurance of proper adoption.
