Advanced Engineering Intern

An Advanced Engineering Intern in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) will be responsible for various aspects of development which may include the design, implementation, simulation, and/or validation of ADAS innovation projects and demonstration vehicles. Typical Advanced Engineering (AE) intern activities involve direct support of AE staff as needed as well as independent execution of an internship project.
The typical applied skill sets relates to any or all of the following:
Software: C/C++, C#, or Python programming, vehicle networks, application development, OpenGL
Controls: Classical, Digital, and Optimal Control / Estimation of the driving environment, and related virtual simulations.
Vehicle Modifications: Seamless component integration into existing vehicle platforms including wiring harness construction and physical integration using CAD and 3D printed parts.
Vehicle evaluation: in-house and competitor benchmarks using DOE methods, real world evaluations, data acquisition, and analysis.

Direct support of AE staff as needed.
Independent execution of an internship project.

Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in a US accredited degree program
Must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8
Working towards a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or Sciences
Demonstrated interest via detailed course work and/or extracurricular activities related to the skill sets above.
