Your Responsibilities
Summary:
Wires, mounts, connects, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and/or modifies developmental and production electronic components, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities (not all inclusive) o Compliance with company, legal, and regulatory requirements for Health, Safety, and Environmental topics in order to foster a culture of Health & Safety.
o Runs wires, cables, wireways cat-tracks, etc.
, needed to construct machines, test equipment and/or systems.
o Read and understand hardware drawings in order to wire accordingly.
o Keep documentation and hardware drawings updated.
o Build and mount brackets for electrical equipment and cat-tracks.
o Assemble and wire terminal boxes, electrical panels, motors and other electrical equipment.
o Tag electrical equipment at the machines and electrical enclosures.
o Make, assemble and maintain all wire and cable tags.
o Input/output check and power up of the machines and systems.
o Support the controls debug team as required.
o Move material in the plant using cranes and forklifts.
o Prepare equipment for shipment to customer's plant.
o Mark-up build prints to reflect as-built status.
o Support the installation and try-out of equipment in the customer's plant if required.
o Other duties may be assigned as required.
Your Profile
Qualifications:
o One year certificate from college or technical school with three or more years related experience, or completion of apprenticeship program and/or a minimum of eight years of documented employment in related field.
o Understands the requirements and safety aspects to handle high voltage feeds and distribution.
Must be able to rate bus plug and fuse sizes in relation to wire gage.
o Skilled in the use of light machine shop equipment including but not limited to, cut off saw, drill press, lathe, belt sander, plasma cutter, welder and cutting torches.
o Working experience as an electrician in the powertrain assembly industry, such as engine, axle, or transmission assembly lines.
Salary:
$12.
